What makes us different

Hans Keim Kunststoffe GmbH was founded in 1946 by the pioneer in plastics processing – Hans Keim. It has now been a medium-sized family and traditional business for 75 years and has been continuously expanding with the Keim family through technological innovations, new core competencies, production and processing as well as storage capacities.

In the meantime, Christoph Keim has taken the helm and continues to drive the expansion and progress of the traditional family business as managing partner. Today, Hans Keim Kunststoffe GmbH is a national and international partner and supplier for globally active companies in a wide range of industries.

Tradition, family spirit and progress – this is what Keim Kunststoffe stands for.

Christoph Keim

Our family business has been with me since my earliest youth. And with it the traditional consistency, pioneering spirit, entrepreneurship and the sense of responsibility that goes with it.

However, I always wanted to gain my own personal entrepreneurial experience. I started doing this while I was still at university – back then importing classic US vehicles. Later, I built up a group of companies in the mobile communications industry – consisting of a distributor, logistics, service provider and store chain.

In every family business, the question of the future and the next generation arises at some point. The joint family decision to hand over the exciting and responsible management of the company to me fills me with great pride every day. With the unique challenges and opportunities of today.

Since 2016, I have been doing everything I can to consistently align the company with the specific future industry needs of our customers. This also includes successively adapting our state-of-the-art production facilities to the future requirements that the digital age may bring.

Our mission: to merge tradition and industrial production.

Certificates, accreditations and proof of quality

We are constantly working on acquiring further certificates, accreditations and proof of quality for our work as a plastics processor. In doing so, we are very broadly oriented. This applies, for example, to sustainability certificates, which are particularly important to us in the plastics industry. However, we are also constantly working on industry-specific accreditations to prove our high quality standards.
