We are Plastic Processors of all common Polymers.

We stock and process all plastics relevant to the industry. Depending on your requirements, we combine different materials. Convince yourself. We will be happy to supply you with samples of all materials and processes.

Variety

We work with all common plastics.

Important characteristics of plastics are their technical properties. These include formability, hardness, elasticity, breaking strength, temperature resistance, heat resistance and chemical resistance. These properties result in specific areas of application. Other determinants for material selection are the costs and the planned design of the production process.

The basic rule is: The material follows the function. It must fit your application – perfectly. Your requirements determine the material. We advise and support you in making the right choice. We make sure that the right material is used. Below we briefly introduce the three main materials.

PMMA

Acrylic Glass

PMMA is also called acrylic glass and has become known under the trade name of Plexiglas. It is a transparent thermoplastic with a variety of applications, as it is available in opaque and fluorescent colors.

PMMA has excellent processing properties as well as high stability, resistance to aging and weathering (UV-resistant) as well as toughness and is differentiated according to the two manufacturing processes: Extruded Acrylic Glass (xt) and Cast Acrylic Glass (gs).

The gs variant is almost stress-free and at the same time has the optically purer properties.

The optically high-quality plastic is used in a variety of ways in industry (covers, signs, protective panes), interior design (store fitting, furniture, accessories) or advertising (displays, showcases, sales stands, illuminated advertising).

PC

Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate is the transparent thermoplastic with the highest level of impact strength of all thermoplastics. PC is known by trade names such as Makrolon and Lexan.

In addition to this high level of break resistance and impact strength, polycarbonate also has very good optical and transparent properties. In addition, it can be used for a wide range of applications due to its high temperature resistance. The application range extends from -90 to +135 degrees Celsius.

These properties make polycarbonate the material for the most extreme requirements.

This outstanding material is used indoors for machine and equipment covers as well as for protective screens and lights. Outdoors, the material is refined by means of UV coating and is used, for example, for exterior building cladding, glazing and likewise for outdoor lighting.

PETG

Polyethylene Terephthalate

PETG is known as copolyester and is a modified version of the well-known PET. Unlike PET, however, PETG is extremely durable with additional excellent properties. The modification takes place during the manufacturing process by adding a second glycol during polymerization.

PETG has an excellent thermoformability, high light transmission properties and a glossy surface. It is food safe, sterilizable, chemically resistant, has high impact strength (vandal resistant) and is flame retardant.

For outdoor use, PETG is typically finished with a UV coating (this is however not food safe).

PETG is mainly used for machine and equipment covers, in the advertising sector for displays, showcases at POS, advertising signs, as well as in the medtech/pharmaceutical and food sectors for covers, containers and means of transport.

Fire prevention materials

FM4910 certified plastics

Plastics certified to FM 4910 have very low smoke and fire propagation. This makes these plastics particularly interesting for sensitive areas of application that have high purity requirements. These include, for example, areas such as food production or sectors such as pharmaceuticals and healthcare.

We are one of the few suppliers and plastics processors to offer FM-4910-certified plastics in a transparent version. We stock the following materials and versions:

  • PVC-C
  • PVC-C (Antistatic)
  • PVC-C (Antistatic and scratch-resistant)

FM4910-certified plastics are finished with a special surface coating. Some processing methods threaten to damage this coating and thus lead to a loss of the protective properties. The options for processing and finishing are therefore limited. We would be happy to advise you on this.
